Work-Rite Ltd was formed in late 2017, focusing on providing innovative and authentic services to industry across 3 key areas, Industry Training, Consultancy Services and Investigations.
We offer training and consultancy services, specializing within the fields of Retail Loss Prevention, Alcohol management and licensing requirements for premises,business and events bound by the conditions of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, with our core focus being on the PREVENTION of the offence rather than the detection.
Our Investigation Services cover all manner of insurance claims and fraud based matters.
Work-Rite Ltd offers a number of professional training packages including Loss Prevention training, with a focus on safety and engagement, as well NZQA accredited Liqour Controllers Qualification course for anyone wanting to work in the liquor industry and Certificate Of Approval course for those wanting to work within the security industry.
Work-Rite Ltd provide consultancy services to industry, in the areas of alcohol management, security, and event management. We also provide document service and assistance with legal reviews of criminal matters.
Work-Rite Ltd also provides a specialized range of investigative services. This includes investigations into insurance claims, employee theft and fraud. We work with a range of clients, from privately owned small businesses to national and international organizations to deliver comprehensive, results-driven solutions.
Work-Rite Ltd have a network of investigators and trainers throughout NZ, making Work-Rite Ltd a total solution provider to our clients.

WHAT WE DO
Work-Rite is a new company which provides professional training packages and consultancy services. Within the initial setup months this will occur through a two-pronged approach.
Loss Prevention – Training and consultancy service to prevent the incidents and effects of retail crime on businesses
Alcohol – Consultation and training in specific requirements of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 for businesses and organisations that require compliance to operate.
Work-Rite was founded by Eden Sewell (Dip.Pol) who started the company after a lengthy career with the New Zealand Police spanning almost 17 years.
During time with Police he became a Police trainer in public order, baton instruction and a qualified Alcohol Harm Reduction Officer.
He was promoted to Sergeant after 6 years and spent the next 10 leading a front- line section. Experience in CIB and the Armed Offenders Squad coupled with planning and deploying to significant operations like Rugby World Cup and Rugby 7’s tournaments provided unique experience in large event planning and management.
Time spent as the Liquor Licencing Sergeant for Hawkes Bay also groomed a strong knowledge of the sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
This platform provided extensive experience in prosecuting through the Licensing Authority for breaches of Liquor Licenses.
To round off an exciting career he also gained experience in district court as the Police Prosecutor.
Each day the growing trend of retail crime and alcohol fuelled offences could be seen consistently rising in frequency and the resources to deal with the issues not effectively in place.
